The sprites and animations are put together well. Other than the particle effects and the UI, the art style is cohesive. Quite a lot of thought has been put into the combat system of the game (details like the hit animation is awesome).

There can be some improvements though. It is quite challenging sometimes due to the player's reach, but once you corner the enemy it becomes too easy as you can just infinitely combo them, and the jump is a bit too floaty like you are on the Moon. Overall, the system seems to be quite complete and I see the potential in working this into a full game!

Definitely worth a play! Well done buddy!

Few suggestions (or bugs) I found:

1. The time interval between enemy attacks might be little bit short, making it hard to dodge.
2. The hitbox seems to only be present at the sword part. If you are almost in the same position as the enemy, there is no hitbox.
3. When you fall out of the map, there is no barrier and you need to refresh the browser to restart the game.
4. You can get damaged twice from a single attack (by standing in the middle position of the attack range and continuing to move towards the enemy while being hit).

Nice work! The game shows great potential.
